  • Sixty-seven percent of surgeries were for malignancy, with tumors ranging from 0.4 to 1.8 cm.
  • Complication rates included recurrent laryngeal nerve injury (1.9%) and hypocalcemia (23.9% transient, 2.2% permanent).
