Changes in bone quality after switching from a TDF to a TAF based ART: A pilot randomized study

Switching from tenofovir disoproxil fumarate (TDF) to tenofovir alafenamide (TAF) ART improved bone quality (BQ) in HIV individuals. This bone health benefit occurred independently of bone mineral density (BMD) changes.
