Quantitative imaging predicts pancreatic fatty infiltration on routine CT examination

Quantitative computed tomography (CT) imaging accurately detects pancreatic fatty infiltration. This non-invasive method uses pancreatic surface lobularity and attenuation to predict fat in the pancreas.
