The TacVi technique: a tactile-visual method for exploring the self-concept of preschool children

Efforts to investigate preschool children's self-concept have not been notably successful, despite historical interest in the developmental aspects of the self. The authors offer the TacVi technique as a tactile and visual method for exploring young children's perceptions of themselves in comparison with their peers.
