A Pilot Study of the Association VDR Polymorphisms With Primary Hyperparathyroidism

Vitamin D receptor (VDR) gene TaqI polymorphism may increase the risk of primary hyperparathyroidism (PHPT). This genetic factor warrants further investigation in larger populations to confirm its role in PHPT development.
