Structural elucidation of lactone derivatives from Dendrobium pendulum

Six novel lactone derivatives from Dendrobium pendulum were identified. These compounds, including alpha-pyrones and alpha-furanones, were tested for their potential cytotoxic effects on human breast cancer cells.
