    • Associated findings included cardiac tamponade, myocardial hypertrophy, cystic and basophilic degeneration of the aortic media.
    • Other significant findings were focal glomerulonephritis and widespread hemosiderosis.

    • Pathological findings suggest multifactorial disease processes, including degenerative changes and metabolic factors.
    • Further research into primate cardiovascular health and risk factors is warranted.
