Volunteer-based, short-term post-natal home visits can be a practical and culturally sensitive approach to child maltreatment prevention.
The Israeli program model demonstrates potential for cost-effective and accessible support for new parents.
Ongoing evaluation will provide further data on the program's effectiveness and impact.
