Retinal Microvascular Changes in Internal Carotid Artery Stenosis

Internal carotid artery stenosis is linked to reduced retinal microvascular density, detectable by optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA). Early OCTA detection of these retinal changes may indicate overall vascular health.
