Summary

High CD15 expression in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) correlates with better prognosis and reduced metastasis. CD15 shows potential as a prognostic biomarker and therapeutic target in ccRCC, unlike sCD15.

Background:

Purpose of the Study:

  • To investigate the prognostic value of CD15 and sCD15 expression in ccRCC.
  • To explore the role of CD15 in ccRCC metastasis and cellular pathways.

Main Methods:

  • Immunohistochemical staining for CD15 and sCD15 on 763 ccRCC patient specimens.
