Introduction:
In the past few weeks, the staff of the Psychiatric Division at the Barzilai Medical Center have been personally, professionally, and socially involved with the impact of the "Swords of Iron " war. While the medical team has dealt with many intense security events in the past, it is clear that the magnitude of the significant impact with the high number of casualties in this war is unlike anything they have experienced before. Providing care to the wounded when there are no clear boundaries between the frontlines and the home front presents a significant challenge that the medical team is currently facing. The article reflects the impressions, experiences, challenges, and resilience of the medical team in the Psychiatry Department at the Barzilai Medical Center.
