Summary

Topical 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) for actinic keratoses (AKs) can trigger severe reactions, including reactive keratoacanthomas (KAs). This study highlights unique cases of elderly women developing KAs after 5-FU treatment for lower extremity AKs.
