Resolution of Cardiac Infiltration Following Autologous Stem Cell Transplantation for AL Amyloidosis

A 43-year-old man presented with severe heart failure secondary to high-risk light chain cardiac amyloidosis. He underwent chemotherapy and autologous stem cell transplantation with complete hematologic response. Serial cardiac magnetic resonance imaging post-transplant demonstrated gradual normalization of biventricular function and myocardial T₁, a surrogate measure of disease burden.
