Summary

Levodopa (L-DOPA) treatment improved visual function in a Parkinson's disease (PD) mouse model with alpha-synuclein overexpression. However, L-DOPA did not reverse retinal thinning, highlighting complex dopamine-alpha-synuclein interactions in PD.
