Preoperative Vitamin.D Status and Post-Total Thyroidectomy Hypocalcemia

Preoperative vitamin D levels do not impact hypocalcemia after total thyroidectomy. This study found no significant difference in postoperative calcium or parathyroid hormone levels based on vitamin D status.
