Predicting Risks of Dry Eye Disease Development Using a Genome-Wide Polygenic Risk Score Model

This study identified eleven genetic risk loci for dry eye disease (DED) and developed a polygenic risk score (PRS) to predict disease risk. The PRS model significantly improved risk stratification, especially when considering environmental factors.
