Guidelines for establishing a new service
The Journal of Nursing Administration
|October 1, 1985
Abstract:
Many acute care hospitals are establishing new services as a strategy to remain solvent. The nurse administrator can play an important role in determining, planning, implementing, and evaluating these services. Guidelines are presented to help the administrator accomplish each of these activities for new services that are offered within the hospital or those that are offered as outreach efforts.
