Summary

This study identified nine variable number tandem repeat (VNTR) variants in the FCGRT gene of rhesus macaques, revealing associations between specific VNTR alleles and IgG levels. These findings support macaques as a model for immunobiological drug research.

  • To determine the functional VNTR polymorphisms of the FCGRT gene in a population of rhesus macaques.
