Background:

Inclusive Design Thinking (IDT) engages disadvantaged user groups in innovation.
IDT is increasingly vital for citizen and patient engagement in digital health.
A systematic overview of IDT methods for digital health is currently lacking.

Purpose of the Study:

To develop a systematic overview of IDT methods for digital health solutions.
To align these methods with the IDT process phases.
To facilitate the practical application of IDT in digital health.

Main Methods:

Systematic literature review and consolidation of IDT methods.
Assignment of identified methods to the phases of the IDT process.
Analysis of 44 distinct IDT methods.

Main Results:

A consolidated list of 44 IDT methods was created.
Methods were systematically assigned to the phases of the IDT process.
This represents the first systematic overview of IDT methods for Digital Health (DH).

Conclusions:

The study provides a foundational overview of IDT methods for DH.
This framework can guide researchers and practitioners in applying IDT.
Further research should explore the effectiveness of these IDT methods.
