- 64Cu-DOTATATE PET/CT demonstrated significant tracer avidity in the pancreatic tail lesion.
- This finding further suggested a well-differentiated neuroendocrine tumor.
- Surgical pathology after distal pancreatectomy revealed focal chronic pancreatitis with islet aggregation, not a NET.
