    Summary

    Cataract surgery with intraocular lens (IOL) implantation improved or maintained intraocular pressure (IOP) control in most glaucoma patients. Postoperative medication needs were significantly reduced, indicating a positive impact on glaucoma management.

    • Glaucoma has historically been a contraindication for intraocular lens (IOL) implantation during cataract surgery.

    • Intraocular pressure (IOP) control was assessed for three months postoperatively.

    • 56.5% of eyes showed improved IOP control, and 41.3% maintained similar IOP control post-surgery.
    • A total of 97.8% of eyes experienced either improved or unchanged IOP control.
    • Preoperative glaucoma medication was required for 100% of eyes, while only 41% needed medication postoperatively.
