- Ten studies were included, with nine providing quantitative outcomes; risk of bias was assessed using the Newcastle-Ottawa scale.
Main Results:
- Incisors showed the highest rotation (7.4°-20.2°), followed by premolars/canines (3.3°-9.2°), and molars (0.8°-7.4°).
- Upper molar rotation was higher in dental Class II patients (78.6° mesial angle).
- No significant gender differences or statistical differences in molar rotation between sides or arches were found.

- There is a lack of adequate classification systems for assessing anterior and mandibular tooth rotation.
- A universally accepted tooth rotation classification system with a common reference line is necessary.
