This is a case report of non-traumatic ureteral rupture caused by a 12-mm obstructing ureteral stone. A male patient in the mid-50's developed uroplania and multiple abscesses in the left lower extremity. To treat the infection, he underwent multiple procedures alternately at urological and orthopaedic departments. Ureteral rupture is a potentially dangerous disorder that therefore requires accelerated diagnostics and often a multidisciplinary treatment.
