Abstract:
In addition to the widespread use of endoscopically monitored magnifying surgery as head-up surgery, a surgically monitored magnification system equipped with 4K3D video technology (the ORBEYE exoscope) is now an option for monitoring magnified surgery. Here, we describe the picture-in-picture function in skull-base surgery. This allows us to simultaneously view exoscopic and endoscopic images on the same screen for safe and rapid surgery.
