Association Between Visceral Adipose Tissue and Chronic Respiratory Diseases: A Two-Sample Multivariable Mendelian

Visceral adipose tissue (VAT) is causally linked to increased risks of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), allergic asthma, and interstitial lung disease (ILD). These associations remain significant even after accounting for body mass index (BMI).
