Buffered Lidocaine for Topical Nasal Anesthesia: A Double-Blind Randomized Controlled Trial

Plain lidocaine nasal spray offers better comfort during transnasal fiberoptic laryngoscopy (TFL) compared to buffered lidocaine. While pain relief was similar, plain lidocaine resulted in fewer side effects like burning and headache.
