Acquired ichthyosis in a patient with polycythemia rubra vera

Acquired ichthyosis is known to be associated with a variety of systemic diseases and to occur secondarily to the intake of some drugs. A 57-year-old woman with acquired ichthyosis and polycythemia rubra vera is described.
