Summary

Elevated body mass index (BMI) in chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps (CRSwNP) patients is linked to higher recurrence rates and specific tissue changes. Overweight and obesity worsen inflammation, increasing the risk of CRSwNP returning after surgery.
