Abstract:
The Patient Monitoring Roundtable (PMRT) provides a platform for interdisciplinary collaboration, addressing clinical challenges and fostering innovation in patient monitoring technologies. This study uses the event "Patient Monitoring Today: Developments and Current Challenges" as a case example to showcase the Roundtable's structure and perceived impact. Findings from the participant survey highlight the interprofessional nature of the attendees and the value of informal exchanges between clinicians and manufacturers, with most participants considering the content highly relevant to their professional interests.
