Summary

Postoperative defect size after Mohs micrographic surgery (MMS) is a valid factor for staging cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (cSCC). This study found that histologic size ≥2 cm after MMS can be used to upstage cSCC, similar to preoperative clinical size criteria.
