Background:

Labiaplasty is frequently pursued for aesthetic, sexual, or functional reasons, yet outcomes remain inconsistent.
Limited research exists on the safety and efficacy of labiaplasty, with most studies being case reports or retrospective analyses.

Purpose of the Study:

To systematically review and analyze the impact of labiaplasty on female sexual function.

Main Methods:

A comprehensive literature search was conducted across major databases (PubMed, Web of Science, Scopus, etc.) from 2000 to 2024.
Included studies focused on labia minora surgery for non-medical reasons and assessed post-operative sexual function quantitatively.
A meta-analysis using a random-effects model was employed to synthesize findings.
