Abstract
None:
A one-step LaF3 doping strategy achieves La-rich bulk and F-rich surface modification in Ni-rich cathodes. La incorporation enhances lattice rigidity and suppresses irreversible phase transition. Surface-enriched F forms a stable LiF layer, reducing side reactions. This bifunctional approach endows lithium-ion batteries with excellent cycling stability and high-rate performance.
