- No statistically significant association was found between CTC presence and 10-year DFS (p=0.13 pre-surgery, p=0.25 post-surgery).
- Only 3 patients (6.3%) experienced disease relapse; 2 developed lymphomas.

- Circulating tumor cell (CTC) enumeration is not a reliable prognostic marker for long-term DFS in early-stage breast cancer.
