Contribution of Germline Predisposition to Pediatric Thyroid Cancer

A significant number of children with thyroid cancer carry cancer-predisposing gene pathogenic variants (PVs). Genetic testing is recommended for pediatric thyroid cancer patients, particularly younger children or those with a history of cancer.
