Pediatric patients diagnosed with a concussion or mild traumatic brain injury experience symptoms such as headache, difficulty concentrating, nausea, and disturbance of balance. Symptoms normally last about 4 weeks though recovery can be delayed. Guidelines regarding brain imaging, bloodwork, and management of complicated patients are discussed in detail in this article.
