Background:

Synovial chondromatosis (SC) is a neoplasm characterized by cartilaginous nodules.
Typically intra-articular, SC rarely occurs outside joints (extraarticular).
Solitary extraarticular SC in the hand is exceptionally uncommon.

Purpose of the Study:

To present a rare case of solitary extraarticular SC in the hand.
To correlate imaging findings with pathological diagnosis.
To highlight diagnostic considerations for hand masses.

Case report of a male patient in his 60s with a hand mass.
Radiography, CT, and MRI were used for imaging.
Surgical excision and histopathological examination were performed.
