Determination of Triazole-Derived Fungicides in Fruits, Vegetables, and Their Products by Capillary Electrophoresis

Abstract:
To determine ametoctradine with five triazole-derived fungicides, a capillary electrophoretic technique in apple, grape, banana, cucumber, tomato, spinach, pepper, carrot, apple juices, grape juices, and red wine was created using 7.5 mM ammonium formate (pH 2.1, 10% v/v, methanol) as a background electrolyte (BGE), and water with 3 s via hydrodynamic injection for the preinjection plug (field-amplified sample injection method). Then, the standard mixtures and the samples were injected by applying 10 kV, 25 s. A 25 kV was applied as a separation voltage. The calibration curve was linear in the range of 1.00 × 10-7 and 1.00 × 10-5 M for amethoctradine (AMTD) and 3.00 × 10-6 and 4.00 × 10-5 M for the other fungicides. LOD values for AMTD in the validated method were 0.0048 μg mL-1 for interday, respectively. The method was applied successfully to a commercial pesticide mixture (Orvego) to determine AMTD.
