[Multiple cavernous hemangioma of the kidney: a case report]
Hinyokika Kiyo. Acta Urologica Japonica

Abstract:
Hemangiomas of the kidney are uncommon. They are usually single, and are seldom multiple or bilateral. A 60-year-old male with multiple cavernous hemangioma of left kidney is reported. Macrohematuria and small pyelographic filling defects in lower calix were the principal manifestations and left nephrectomy was performed. Several tumors were found in upper and lower calices. The histologic diagnosis was cavernous hemangioma. Microscopic hemangioma was also observed in pericaliceal tissue. Related reports were also reviewed.
