Quantitatively analyzing lithium carbonate content via transformed phase strategy

Abstract:
In the present work, a transformed phase strategy was introduced to propose a novel and efficient method for accurately measuring lithium carbonate content. The method involves the detection of carbon dioxide generated by the reaction between lithium carbonate and hydrochloric acid. This carbon dioxide was then precisely detected using headspace GC. Our results indicated that this novel approach possesses remarkable precision and accuracy for lithium carbonate analysis. The proposed transformed phase strategy provides a rapid and facile method for assessing lithium carbonate. Additionally, it has the potential to foster the development of further indirect evaluation techniques for substances capable of producing gases through reactions.
