[Lipolysis and aflatoxin production in Aspergillus flavus (author's transl)]
Abstract:
Lipolysis in relation to toxinogenesis has been studied in various strains of Aspergillus flavus. Toxinogenic strains show a lipolytic activity which is twice the activity of non-toxinogenic strains. This enzymatic activity seems to be directly linked to the biosynthesis of toxins.
