Abstract:
The ability to accurately identify gluten in the diet before and after consumption can significantly impact celiac disease management. This article discusses provider- and patient-facing technologies and how these may be incorporated into clinical practice. The article focuses on the use of gluten immunogenic peptics, urine and stool, and patient-marketed gluten testing devices.
