Abstract:
This study assessed artificial intelligence in dental imaging interpretation and diagnosis. A PubMed and Cochrane Library search identified studies published between January 2020 and February 2025. Data extraction followed Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines. Of 400 initial studies identified, nine were included in the final analysis. Most studies reported high accuracy, with the highest accuracy of 99.5% achieved for mandibular segmentation. AI in dental imaging is effective in enhancing diagnostic precision and clinical decision-making.
