Dual-redox functionalized porous graphene for highly reproducible and stable solid-contact ion-selective electrodes

Abstract:
A novel solid contact is developed through electrodeposition, co-anchoring ethyl viologen and ferrocene on porous graphene. The proposed solid-contact ion-selective electrode using this material shows large capacitance, low drift, high reproducibility, no aqueous layer, and resistance to interferents, paving the way for calibration-free application.
