In this work, for the first time, an MoS2/Ni3S2 heterostructure (MSNS) was employed as the counter electrode. When combined with an unmodified Cu-PBA working electrode, the equilibrium adsorption capacity reached up to 579.66 mg g-1 and it demonstrated high Cs+ selectivity and excellent cycling stability. A detailed study indicated that the exceptional HER/OER catalytic activity of MSNS mitigated polarization and expedited electron transfer, thereby augmenting the electrochemical Cs+ extraction performance.
