  • To evaluate the cytotoxic, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory effects of these extracts on HeLa human cancer cells.

  • Multivariate analyses linked specific metabolite classes to bioactivity patterns.

Conclusions:

  • The studied aromatic plants possess multifunctional bioactive compounds with significant anticancer and anti-inflammatory properties.
  • Rosemary, in particular, showed pronounced cytotoxic, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory effects, likely due to synergistic interactions of its constituents.
  • These findings support the potential of these aromatic plants as natural sources for developing novel therapeutic agents.
