Summary

Functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS) may improve Eustachian tube dysfunction (ETD) in some chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS) patients. Improvement was noted in those with lower preoperative scores on the Eustachian Tube Dysfunction Questionnaire (ETDQ-7) or smell identification tests.
