Abstract:
Heptagon-embedded polyarenes have long been of great interest in the field of optoelectronic materials. Herein, we report a double-cyclization strategy for the synthesis of heptagon-embedded polyarenes via pyrones-derived aryliodonium salts, enabling the efficient construction of dibenzoheptanaphthalene frameworks.
