Acknowledging the magnitude of the problem and the preventable nature of the disease, it is the need of the hour to strengthen cervical cancer screening programs and integrate these activities into rural healthcare delivery systems. In conclusion, the implementation of screening for cervical cancer in rural settings can play a huge role in the early detection and improvement of the overall prognosis.
