Abstract:
Photoinitiated radical polymerization holds great promise as a method for creating biomaterials. Here, we report an enzyme-gated photoinduced polymerization using commercially available enzyme-responsive fluorescent dyes as photocatalysts. This system enables the synthesis of linear polymers and hydrogels in response to various target enzymes, serving as a platform for bio-responsive polymer synthesis.
