Barometric Pressure Drops and Premature Rupture of Membranes

Barometric pressure drops do not increase the incidence of premature rupture of membranes (PROM). This study found no significant link between atmospheric pressure changes and PROM rates in high-risk women.

- This study provides evidence against a direct causal link between barometric pressure changes and PROM.
